| Description |
|
> Achieve sales volume expectations by working with existing customers and pro-actively searching out new business opportunities at current customers and prospective customers.
Establish and develop rapport and professional customer/vendor relationships with appropriate customer personnel and identify the key decision maker(s).
Represent company in a professional manner as a preferred supplier of Coding and Marking/Commercial Printing and promote products for intended end uses primarily via the telephone.
Develop leads by cold calling
Follow up on leads, quote customers and provide technical support as required.
Increase sales at a selected group of existing customers.
Work closely with outside sales, sales reps, customer service and other internal departments.
Assist customers with product selection, cross-referencing and trouble-shooting
Identify and monitor your customers purchase potential and business direction.
Maintain expert knowledge of how company products are used and display the ability to troubleshoot minor customer problems independently.
Participate in trade shows and sales meetings.
Prepare assigned reports accurately and on time.
Bachelors degree Is preferred, however not mandatory.
Prior sales (outside or telephone) experience required.
Must be a self-starting individual capable of meeting sales objectives and maintaining a steady work pace.
Experience and knowledge of pressure sensitive, converting and printing industry preferred.
Must be able to speak persuasively and fluently on the telephone while selling a product.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, SalesForce.com management software or similar software desired.
Requires the ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with people of various educational and technical backgrounds, both inside and outside the company. |
